So sue me..

I feel like a curmudgeon when I see people saying they can “Photoshop” pictures when really they mean recolor or use effects over existing pictures. They then create a whole subculture of tumblr where people obsess over PSD templates and creating photosets. 

To me it seems pointless and idiotic. Yes, I understand that this is how you interact with your fandom, passion, whatever.
But when you blatantly misuse a tool than can make some pretty cool stuff without being pathetic, thats when I have a problem. You use it. You dont learn the aspects of it, you just learn whats necessary for your purposes, and dont take time to gain knowledge or understand. And thats what pisses me off. Is that there is no creativity happening, just stagnant and idiotic, with small spatterings of good.
